Traditional Witchcraft 201 Zoom Series with Griffin & Carrie

Traditional Witchcraft 201 Zoom Series with Griffin & Carrie
Starting March 30 at 7:30 p.m. for nine weeks.

$28 per class; $183 for series if purchased in full.
Series purchase brings the price to $20 per class.
Also with Series purchase only, as this is a zoom series, you get access to taped video of classes. So if you miss a class or two, or can’t make the series time frame, you can still view at your leisure!

* Note, this is a more advanced level class, building upon the Ced Tradition approach to Traditional Witchcraft, which makes this series quite specific in its requirements. Although the work easily applies to other general Traditional Witchcraft practices, the requirement is that students have a basic background in the specific concepts and language of this particular Witchcraft approach. So prior class experience, preferably the 101 series, is required in order to attend.*

Last year, 2020, we did not manage to do a Trad Craft 201 Series. And we have never done a Trad Craft 201 Series on Zoom ever! So, this is going to be quite a different experience for those who may have taken the 201 before.
For those of you who haven’t, doing this online opens the Series to folks further afield than we have every been able to do before.

As with previous Trad Craft 201 Series, this is where the basic concepts, practices, structures, lore, and cosmology goes further down the rabbit hole of old world witchery. We will be getting into the Draconian material associated with the Compass Cross Quarters, as we normally do in the 201, as well as a deeper understanding of the Crossroads in its many expressions and how we work with that within the Compass of Traditional Witchcraft.

Another aspect of the usual Trad Craft 201 series in past years is that we take the work to the floor. , which means we look to get personal hands-on experience of working the material literally by doing it within a ritual setting. This is a challenge for us when doing the series via Zoom. I am not a believer of watching ritual, and when people have asked if they can come and watch, I tell them, Witchcraft is not a spectator sport! Working rituals in Witchcraft is truly experiential. You have to experience the magic personally in order to understand what is happening and how potent a force this is for your life and practices. The very root of practicing Witchcraft is to practice an Arte of spirit that can only be perceived subjectively. So to plant a camera and let people watch others do rituals would not be anywhere near good enough!

So my solution is to try and use the same tools that have proved pretty effective to cover our online Sabbat rituals; to use a variation of a Vision Quest approach of sorts. As we now have a potent vision quest based series into the other realms of the Witches Compass, these 201 Vision Quests will not be limited to quarter realm visual workings. We were thinking of making the working part of the class more of an Astral Ritual approach, so people can follow along with the building of the work and engage in the challenges and gifts that we hope to deliver, through personal ritual experiences. We have never tried this before but we feel pretty confident, given our track record of kindred type workings, that we can pull this off. And we are very excited about it!

This will be a 9-week series, starting Tues March 23 at 7:30 p.m., rotating between normal classroom lectures and practical ritual experience achieved through astral vision work. The goal is a more experiential method approach that offers the student a deeper understanding of the material by taking it out of the realm of the theoretical and putting it into the realm of the practical. The objective of the Series is that the student claims insight into the material that enables true ownership and proficiency into Trad Craft of this level.

Many Trad Craft Subjects will be covered and worked with practically, from Spell crafting to Sight Work, Ancestral Work, and Diety & Spirit work of all types. We will also, of course, be getting into the many expressions of the Crossroads & Mill related material, that much of the Legacy Work revolves around. We will delve deep into the Quarter and Cross Quarters Leyline Tracks of Power, as they pertain to the Ancestral Legacy of the Ancient Arte of Witchery, as found within the Airts Compass.

This is not a Wiccan- based system and all students must be open to and able to deal with exploring Magic as foundational to the Craft.

This is a packed and demanding Series to present and so it will not be offered again for another year, at least!
So those interested in this advance Traditional Witchcraft Series are advised to seize the opportunity this time around and make sure to call and reserve!

Note* We start each week at 7.30pm with open general discussion, using the first half hour so that people running from work may make it to the class proper, which starts at 8.00pm.

Odds n Sods Witch Waffling series on Zoom with Griffin & Carrie

A series of Friday night single Zoom classes, in a relaxed discussion format, with Griffin & Carrie!
Starting Friday Jan 15th at 7:30 p.m.
*****THIS CLASS WILL SKIP FRIDAY FEBRUARY 5TH*****
So we are still in the lock down, and figured what better way for witches to spend a Friday night than to join some experienced old Odds n Sods witches to have an online Zoom class/presentation/discussion about some particularly interesting Witchcraft subjects?
We are, for sure, a couple of most odd (and often called a) sods type practicing Witches!
Join us in a relaxed, frank, and humorous space, and lead us into some interesting discussions where everything is potentially on the table.
These will be stand-alone single type classes but arranged into a weekly schedule with the option to purchase as a series, so as to reduce your costs, if you are interested in weekly attendance.  If only one or two of the subjects interest you, then drop in for a single class here and there!
Our basic concept for the series is to enjoy an evening of frank and open discussion and sharing, drawing from decades of personal experience and making magic work in our lives.  Griffin & Carrie have years of experience teaching together and have, collectively, decades of hands-on Witchcraft and teaching experience under their belts!
The type of witchcraft we practice is British Traditional Witchcraft, leaning towards what we think of as old world heretical craft, rooted in the ‘gifts’, working with various types of spirits, including the old Gods and various practices of Magic—though we are happy to engage in all kinds of questions, from all kinds of Witchcraft and Magical practices.
The format, as stated, is to have a relaxed fun Friday night atmosphere, while we get deep into some chewy witchcraft subjects.  We want to get into all the odd subjects that people have shown great interest in discussing and understanding better.  This upcoming list of subjects is drawn from our community’s expressed interest. As we have more subjects than we have weeks in this series, we hope this may be followed up by another series shortly after this one is done.
The specific subjects and dates for this upcoming run of Odds n Sods are as follows:
1. Friday Jan 15th.  3d after New Moon.  Cauldrons, & all things cauldrons, with Lore & Practice in magic!  Not much more is needed to be said, right?
2. Friday Jan 22nd.  1st Quarter.  Temple Keeping, Practical hands on direction related to Temple or Sacred Space maintenance as well as the tools and layers of stuff we as witches acquire and work with over the years.
3. Friday Jan 29th.  Full Moon.   Dealing with moods, anxiety & depression, managing your feelings when being a magical person!  A very deep subject that affects magical folk more than mundane and can have profound consequences.  A world within and a world without.  How to claim & hold your power.  Self-fulfilling curses and how to break bad spirals.  When Witch Poo hits the Fan!  Dealing with mistakes & poo-ridden people!
There will be no class gathering on Friday Feb 5th as it’s my daughter’s birthday and daughters need to come first!  Class will be continued on the following Friday:
4. Friday Feb 12th.  New Moon.  Finding your Bliss with Love Magic can be interpreted in many ways, many forms.  Also, relationships with Magical people and non magical folks.   Love magic in general is one of the big subjects in the area of Witchcraft.  But the whole subject goes way further than just getting a warm body into your bed!  What about when it goes bad? How to work with relationships that have become difficult, ended or in need of work.  How about Love magic for oneself to oneself!  This is such a deep subject, there are so many areas and directions this discussion/class can go.  Love magic starts with self-empowerment and ends with changing the Cosmos!
5. Friday Feb 19th.  1st Quarter.  Patrons and Gnostic relationships with Key Gods & Spirits.  A popular subject often asked about.  Get some frank responses from Witches who work a lot with this type of practice.
6. Friday Feb 26th.  Full Moon.  Familiars/Animals/Plant Allies.  What we call the gang, or our spirit, non-human coven members with whom we do most our work, is a large subject full of interesting questions and challenges.  Get some straight answers from witches with experience in this field.
7. Friday March 5th.  Last quarter.  Crone and Sage, discussing the subject of being older in the Craft and all that being such incorporates.  All ages welcome to the class, as insights coming from this subject can affect a lot of folks & practices.
An open mind to exploration into an alternative approach to the Craft is required. A sense of humour is also required! We take our work seriously but not ourselves. Our Spirituality, what some call the Olde Religion, is a path of laughter. Yes we do cackle, yes we are at times irreverent!   But we bring insight to practitioners of all ages and levels.
$28  per class, if purchased as single class.
$143 for complete 7 week series if paid in full by first class.
Series discount saves $53  for 7 classes.
