This week brings some very interesting energy. With all this heat in the air making everyone sluggish and tired, it seems that this week we will be shifting out of it. Fire is both creative and destructive so it is about riding the heat of the winds and not letting it burn you. The overall energy for what I’m getting this week is all about claiming the power of the sun and working it to achieve your goals. The first card in the seven spread I laid out is the ace of wands. This card to me is all about new ventures and ideas coming into light. Have you started a new project? Are things in the workplace needing a little jolt in the right direction? The next card ties very nicely with this one and that’s the nine of wands. This card is all about rallying the troops and working towards a common goal. What this tells me is that the idea that you’ve got cooking is worth presenting to everyone else. You have the skills to make it happen because there is an air of working a common goal and accomplishing something. The next card is the Empress; this is a major acana card so it carries a bit a weight here. She represents sovereignty and the will to create. She is the creatrix of her universe and relies on her own will to make things happen. What that means for us is that you have to be the commander and work to achieve your goals. They are within reach for you as long as you have desire to make it happen. The card following further confirms it with the high priestess; another major acana card. She is the mystic who studied her art and now holds the hidden knowledge. She represents your talents so again, chase your dreams and make them reality. The next card is the chariot; another major acana. This makes three so far, so be sure to pay attention and hear what the universe is saying because it could shift at any moment. Another big player, this card is about sudden change and movement. Now that you have rallied the troops and worked your skills, are you going to be able to hold the reins and keep things going? The next card gave me an interesting message right off the bat. Always remember where you came from and don’t discount the journey for the destination. Everything is a stepping stone to bring you to where you are now so always own the past and don’t weaken the rungs on the ladder to your success. I also get the message about remember to leave a clear legacy for the future. Again, remembering where you came from and understanding that the trials you took to reach your current position are roads being paved for future generations to follow. The last card for the week is the page of swords. A reminder to stay positive even at the end, just because this week is over, doesn’t mean that there is nothing more to do.
