For this month’s popular Vision Quest gathering, we will be encountering one of the truly significant figures of Traditional Witchcraft. The Widow’s Son of the Masonic Temple is key to the mysteries of the Masons, who call their practice “The Craft” and have done way before Witches did! But let’s not quibble over terms, this figure is truly the KEY figure of Traditional Witchcraft and central to the whole Witch Blood Legacy material!
There are many ways to view this figure’s role in the Mysteries underlying Witchcraft and Masonic practices. He can and is viewed through a filter of Alchemy as he is the Father of Blacksmithing, often viewed in the persona of Vulcan, where his connection to the Venus Mystery Legacy opens up deep insight into our core Legacy and nature.
As a mythic figure within the context of Traditional Witchcraft, I work with him more as a spirit figure with accents of Baphomet and Azazel. He hooks directly into the Witch Blood legacy in a way that connects many of the Old Family witchcraft lines to one grand gathering event.
He offers great personal insight into the crooked path of the wise. Not one to be missed!
In general, these popular monthly Vision Quests serve to help awaken the Sight and Gifts in the Seeker, offering a number of opportunities to connect with and receive gnostic insight into your Fate, Path and practices, both within your mundane world as well as your Magic.
