Traditional Witchcraft 201 Zoom Series with Griffin & Carrie
Starting March 30 at 7:30 p.m. for nine weeks.

$28 per class; $183 for series if purchased in full.
Series purchase brings the price to $20 per class.
Also with Series purchase only, as this is a zoom series, you get access to taped video of classes. So if you miss a class or two, or can’t make the series time frame, you can still view at your leisure!

* Note, this is a more advanced level class, building upon the Ced Tradition approach to Traditional Witchcraft, which makes this series quite specific in its requirements. Although the work easily applies to other general Traditional Witchcraft practices, the requirement is that students have a basic background in the specific concepts and language of this particular Witchcraft approach. So prior class experience, preferably the 101 series, is required in order to attend.*

Last year, 2020, we did not manage to do a Trad Craft 201 Series. And we have never done a Trad Craft 201 Series on Zoom ever! So, this is going to be quite a different experience for those who may have taken the 201 before.
For those of you who haven’t, doing this online opens the Series to folks further afield than we have every been able to do before.

As with previous Trad Craft 201 Series, this is where the basic concepts, practices, structures, lore, and cosmology goes further down the rabbit hole of old world witchery. We will be getting into the Draconian material associated with the Compass Cross Quarters, as we normally do in the 201, as well as a deeper understanding of the Crossroads in its many expressions and how we work with that within the Compass of Traditional Witchcraft.

Another aspect of the usual Trad Craft 201 series in past years is that we take the work to the floor. , which means we look to get personal hands-on experience of working the material literally by doing it within a ritual setting. This is a challenge for us when doing the series via Zoom. I am not a believer of watching ritual, and when people have asked if they can come and watch, I tell them, Witchcraft is not a spectator sport! Working rituals in Witchcraft is truly experiential. You have to experience the magic personally in order to understand what is happening and how potent a force this is for your life and practices. The very root of practicing Witchcraft is to practice an Arte of spirit that can only be perceived subjectively. So to plant a camera and let people watch others do rituals would not be anywhere near good enough!

So my solution is to try and use the same tools that have proved pretty effective to cover our online Sabbat rituals; to use a variation of a Vision Quest approach of sorts. As we now have a potent vision quest based series into the other realms of the Witches Compass, these 201 Vision Quests will not be limited to quarter realm visual workings. We were thinking of making the working part of the class more of an Astral Ritual approach, so people can follow along with the building of the work and engage in the challenges and gifts that we hope to deliver, through personal ritual experiences. We have never tried this before but we feel pretty confident, given our track record of kindred type workings, that we can pull this off. And we are very excited about it!

This will be a 9-week series, starting Tues March 23 at 7:30 p.m., rotating between normal classroom lectures and practical ritual experience achieved through astral vision work. The goal is a more experiential method approach that offers the student a deeper understanding of the material by taking it out of the realm of the theoretical and putting it into the realm of the practical. The objective of the Series is that the student claims insight into the material that enables true ownership and proficiency into Trad Craft of this level.

Many Trad Craft Subjects will be covered and worked with practically, from Spell crafting to Sight Work, Ancestral Work, and Diety & Spirit work of all types. We will also, of course, be getting into the many expressions of the Crossroads & Mill related material, that much of the Legacy Work revolves around. We will delve deep into the Quarter and Cross Quarters Leyline Tracks of Power, as they pertain to the Ancestral Legacy of the Ancient Arte of Witchery, as found within the Airts Compass.

This is not a Wiccan- based system and all students must be open to and able to deal with exploring Magic as foundational to the Craft.

This is a packed and demanding Series to present and so it will not be offered again for another year, at least!
So those interested in this advance Traditional Witchcraft Series are advised to seize the opportunity this time around and make sure to call and reserve!

Note* We start each week at 7.30pm with open general discussion, using the first half hour so that people running from work may make it to the class proper, which starts at 8.00pm.
