**This 4-Week course is a Hybrid Series; to be presented on Zoom, and In-Person at The Green Man Store, Wednesday Nights at 7:30pmPST, between 1/8/24 – 1/29/24.  Students who have paid for the full series will have access to the class recordings through The Mighty Network throughout the duration of the series, and for a limited time after the series has concluded.**

Astrology, the study of fate and fortune, is engrained into every culture around the world. And, as magical practitioners, astrology will eventually come into play – whether we decide to foster our interest for it or try to avoid it altogether. But as fascinating and enriching astrology can be, it is also very complex, and can be overwhelming for a lot of people. And yet, despite astrology’s many complexities, many people have expressed to us that they not only want to learn more about it, but they want to learn how to utilize Astrology within their magical practice. However, before anyone can really start applying astrology within a magical or divinatory context, it’s always best to start with the basics. So, the goal here isn’t to train you to become an astrologer per se. Instead, the goal here is to provide and introduce you to the necessary concepts, techniques and approaches of astrology, which will ultimately support your magical workings and perspectives… but in a fun, practical and relatable way.

“Traditional Astrology for Witches” is a cumulative course, which has been divided in to 3 Parts.

In this series, Part 1, we will start by exploring the cosmological perspectives within astrology, as well as how astrology has played in integral role in magic, history and culture. We will also dive into the science and astronomy within astrology, as we learn to analyze natal charts and uncover the sophistication behind these ancient astrological systems. We will deepen our understanding of the planets and zodiacal signs as we expand our language around their significations and symbolism.

Astrology is the language of the stars. And, like learning any language, it is important that you dedicate time to learn the material and test your knowledge. Bit by bit, we will introduce you to new concepts, techniques and practices, and provide you with various study materials, as we learn how to identify patterns and conditions which correlate celestial movements with our terrestrial paradigm.
