What better way to embrace the Easter Weekend Spirit than with a decidedly Pagan encounter with our own beloved Magdalene! In Traditional Witchcraft we do not reject the last two thousand years of Witchery practiced within the pale of Christendom. In the shadows of the Church, we were there. We have always been there in the shadows, regardless of what religious system was in place. And come what may, we are always going to be there! In todays world as in all periods of history and all cultures the in the world, Witches have been the working their art and passing their legacy.

When we seek the Legacy of our Witch Mothers and Fathers within our Blood Memories we also encounter those who practiced their art within the framework of Christianity, which has ruled in European for the past two thousand years. These Witches called themselves Christians and had no problem applying their Legacy and Art to this or any Cosmology system presented. Call the spirits what you want, the truth is what it is regardless of how it’s dressed up. We are creatures of the Moon and like the waters of the Moon, we apply ourselves to ride upon the backs of whatever beast or creature is presented. One simply needs to see the world through the eyes of a Witch to see it is not as others think it to be.

And so in this Months Vision Quest, to celebrate a Pagan Easter, with its Pagan symbols Hares & Eggs, let’s lift the curtain on the Witches Legacy within Christendom and celebrate the Mother of Sybil’s and Witches, who leads us upon the crooked path to the Blessed Crown of Thorne that encircles the Temple of Mystery and Magic.

Magdalene carries a deep and rich Venus rooted Legacy for all us children of the Moon and Star. And this working promises to be quite something not to be missed. I can already feel its presence on the threads of Wyrd coming our way and it will be a worthy follow up to the recent Tiamat working. This one may book up fast guys… And it’s coming up fast!

In general about these workings; These popular monthly Vision Quests, serve to help awaken the Sight and Gifts in the Seeker, offering a number of opportunities to connect with and receive gnostic insight into your Fate, Path and practices, both within your mundane world as well as your Magic.
