The Dance of Aphrodite with Shana

Connect to your inner goddess by diving deep into self expression through beauty and movement. This event ties in elements of divine feminine, mythology, innate trance-like movement and ritual to honor the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, and give her time and space in our lives. We will start the evening with connecting to the goddess by learning  some of her lore and  about items sacred to her before moving on to writing petitions and honoring her with ritualistic dance.

The dance portion of this event will be done in chairs to help accommodate people with restricted movement. The room will be light by candle light only, leaving it dim  enough that we may abandon reservation and issues of confidence, thus allowing each participant to safely and fully revel in the moment and divine presence of Aphrodite.

Feel free to bring items such as rose quartz, jade, or copper to place on the altar so that you can take home a tangible connection to Venus as well as any offerings that you would like to gift Her.

Please come in comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.
