Shamanism is a spiritual path that teaches its practitioners how to cultivate relationships to the realm of Spirit. Through these connections we can retrieve valuable medicines. However, when we talk about “medicine” from a shamanic perspective, we’re talking about the inherent power and wisdom that spirit imparts to us to improve and support our lives. In this way, we learn how to track the cyclical patterns that no longer serve our stories. We’ll learn to explore the deeper facets of who we are, and in turn, apply the necessary healing to restore wholeness to our souls. In this series you will learn more about how to develop a working relationship to one of nature’s most important spirits – your own!

If you are new to Shamanism, or simply want to learn more about it, this series will help you cultivate an understanding of a Shamanic worldview. In this series we will explore and discuss the various commonalities amongst Shamanic traditions from around the world, and, demonstrate simple ways in which you may incorporate Shamanic practices and skills into your own spiritual practices and everyday lives.

This will be a 6-Week Class Series held In-Person, wherein each class will meet, in-person, every Wednesday night from 7:30pm – 10pm, between May 20 – July 1, 2026.

***There will be NO CLASS the week of 6/24/26, and we will resume the following week ***

This class course is Part 2 in the class series “An Introduction to Shamanism.”

• This course is an extension to Part 1: “Shamanism & Spirit Work.”
• While it is suggested to have taken classes in the previous courses, or at least have a basic understanding of shamanic perspectives and practices, it is not necessary.

Throughout the series, each class will delve into a foundational topic within the study of Shamanism.

• As a reminder, every single class within the series can stand alone as an individual workshop, so it is not a requirement to attend all of the classes consecutively. And, while the option of “dropping in” at any point in the series is open, to fully and cohesively benefit from the lessons and practices taught, it is highly encouraged to attend all of the classes, either in each class course or in the whole series.

 

 

An Introduction to Shamanism – Course Itinerary

Part 2: “Shamanism & Personal Healing” – May 20 to July 1. (No Class on June 24).

Explore and discover the Inner Realms of your spirit, as we learn how to integrate and connect with spirit medicine to achieve a more tangible sense of spiritual wholeness.

Class Topics:

5/20:   Class 1 – Navigating the Realm of The Soul

The Soul is commonly defined as vital life-force ENERGY. Learn how your perception of the soul and the cosmos serve as your personal orientation to shapeshifting your perception of energy along your healing trajectory.

5/27:   Class 2 – Exploring Dreams

Navigating the subconscious realm of The Dreamtime is seemingly nebulous and allusive. Here we will explore various perspectives and techniques toward interpreting and accessing your dreams for personal healing.

6/3:     Class 3 – Shadow Work

Shadows are fearsome and deceptive, and yet, often hold many truths, perspectives and medicines – oftentimes, ones we choose to deny or reject. In this workshop, we will explore practical and ethical ways we may navigate through them along our individual healing journeys.

6/10:   Class 4 – Soul Healing
Shamanic Healing is Soul Healing. In this workshop, we will discuss the various challenges and rewards that arise as we learn how to heal and transcend beyond our fears, traumas, and personal mythologies.

6/17:   Class 5 – Working with Ancestors

Our ancestral lines and tribes are ever-present and ever available in your healing journey. Learn how to deepen your connection, veneration, work and healing practices with those beyond the veil.

7/1 :    Class 6 – Shamanic Ritual

As we expand our perspectives, we must also cultivate good practices with personal healing and shamanic medicine. Learn to construct personal rituals that support and align with your healing journey.
