‘Seasons of the Witch’ with Griffin
Starting July 7th 7:30 p.m. for 5 weeks
In this series we shall explore the underlying themes and mythos that permeate through a whole Season rather than only focusing on a single Sabbat or Festival day. Stepping back to peruse this material, seeing how the ongoing themes weave & evolve through the Seasons, we see how the specific festivals, Sabbats and practices came into being. Grasping this material from this wider perspective truly helps illuminate the Legacy of the Pagan Wheel of the Year. But most of all, this series approach helps focus in particular the Witch’s Legacy of Mysteries that lies at the roots of the seasonal practices, offering inspiration into how Witchcraft practitioners today could access and apply this material to our own 21th century path and evolution.
To share my own experience when I first did this series some years back, honestly I was surprised how deep this approach would take us into not only the legacy resident within the Sabbats, but also the underlying themes that run through the whole season. This helps most in clarifying the main meat to be worked with over the season–not only clarifying the core material for Witches to focus on with the Sabbats but also the energies at play with the Moon workings.
So with this upcoming series, in the first class I will be covering general practices and ways in which Witches may work with the Seasonal material and find ways to use it to provoke evolution in their Witchery. Then the following four classes will cover each of the four Seasons. The Seasonal material includes Solar and Draconian Land Lore, and we will incorporate the Lunar tidal influences, which is how we reign and ride the Draconian Powers to specific goals within our Witchcraft Rituals and Workings.
This Traditional Witchcraft series is good for Traditional Witchcraft practitioners of all levels, including newbies. There will be elements for all levels. I aim to present this in as clear and simple terms as possible.
