First let us say how much we regret not being able to present our notorious annual Samhain Rite, once again! We had hoped that after last year, we would be in a better place with the pandemic by now to be able to get back normal, or some version of that! Yes we could do some kind of working with proof of vaccination and masked, but as those who have experienced our Samhain working know: it is quite a powerful grand coven working that would be quite impossible to do in masks. And to gather with such numbers of the community as usually joins us, it would be far from safe, especially given the high infection ability of this Delta strain.

We care about the health of our Community and have no desire to put you guys in jeopardy! And again this year with all the loss, death, and pain that we as a people have experienced, we really feel the need to do our old witchery Samhain service.

One thing we have discovered, now being a year and half into this situation: we know that as Witches we have the ability to do deep and meaningful work together in a virtual gathering, using a Vision Quest to get us between the worlds where we can apply our Arte directly in communion with Spirits and Gods directly!  So our ability to take on the important work of the Season and observe one of our most important Sabbats of the year is completely doable through us gathering in real time, online.

For those who do not know our Samhain Rite, we want to make this clear: This is not a Halloween celebration gathering, but rather a real Hallows Eve working, a real Old World Traditional Witchcraft working for the dead, where we do work for the passing of loved ones, but also we call upon the Wild Hunt, calling in the lost souls and aiding them across the Veil. This kind of work gets intense with power and high energy. Be prepared for such participation and prepare a dish for a dumb supper feast: a meal to share with the ancestors after the work.

This presentation will start with a clear and comprehensive class on Samhain, where the practices associated with the Sabbat are discussed, as well as the WitchLore related to the Dead and the Wild Hunt. This presentation will prepare everyone for the work that we will engage in within the Vision Quest format.

In order to prepare for the work yourselves, to do the work we each need to do for our loved ones, we recommend you create a sacred space, such as an Altar, with candles and photos of loved ones who have passed. And to make it more personal and potent: before the work, write down names of those you know of that have passed, and place the paper upon your Altar.

Please take the time to prepare yourselves ahead of the work to shift your energetic space within yourself and the space around you. Investing time in preparing oneself can make all the difference to experience of workings such as this. Also for the practical elements of this work, make sure you have secured the space from interruption, turn off phones, secure a good internet connection, etc. This working will be presented in real time, as we have found that it works best for us to connect in the Spirit Realm when we are all in the same real time frame.
