Come geek out on science with me! Making and using herbal medicine requires an understanding of plant chemistry, but you don’t need a degree to understand these concepts! I’ll introduce some of the primary classes of compounds in plants, how they act in the body, and how best to extract and use them. You’ll gain confidence in your ability to understand those polysyllabic compounds, and even better, how to apply them in everyday life to support optimum health and healing.
This is a fun class that requires only curiosity on your part. We will experiment a lot with the plants as we learn the chemistry behind them. Come ready to explore!
