Odds & Sods: Spellcrafting – with Griffin & Carrie on Zoom

This week’s Odds & Sods topic is Spellcrafting. Ever wonder why your bippity-boppity just won’t boo? Has your Abraca ever failed to Dabra? Why doesn’t change happen when you wiggle your nose?
Tonight’s conversation will cover basic forms of Spell-crafting, the forms, ingredients and execution of Spells. In addition to that magic ingredient that all powerful spells are born of, the unlocked power of the Witch themselves. Spells are not conjured like a cake recipe as something manipulated through knowledge alone. A true powerful is birthed from within the Witch! And this is where this Series shall spend it’s time and focus.
When you truly understand the core nature of Spells and how they are related to the Witch themselves, you will unlock your ability to work on the fly with what is at hand, in powerful ways. And most importantly not step into trouble and kick back from your magic! Working both safely while powerfully is the true mark of a potent Witch!
What better way for witches to spend a Friday night than to join some experienced old Odds n Sods witches to have an online Zoom class/presentation/discussion about some particularly interesting Witchcraft subjects?
We are, for sure, a couple of most odd (and often called a) sods type practicing Witches!
Join us in a relaxed, frank, and humorous space, and lead us into some interesting discussions where everything is potentially on the table.
These will be stand-alone single classes, on an odd (ha!) schedule that runs 2 weeks in a row, then a week off, for six single classes. We took suggestions to heart and are choosing asked for subject matter.
The way we do these classes is to enjoy an evening of frank and open discussion and sharing (likely over a glass of wine), drawing from decades of personal experience and making magic work in our lives. Â Griffin & Carrie have years of experience teaching together and have, collectively, decades of hands-on Witchcraft and teaching experience under their belts!
The type of witchcraft we practice is British Traditional Witchcraft, leaning towards what we think of as old world heretical craft, rooted in the ‘gifts’, working with various types of spirits, including the old Gods and various practices of Magic—though we are happy to engage in all kinds of questions, from all kinds of Witchcraft and Magical practices.
The format, as stated, is to have a relaxed fun Friday night atmosphere, while we get deep into some chewy witchcraft subjects. Â We want to get into all the odd subjects that people have shown great interest in discussing and understanding better. As usual, the first half hour of each class will be open question/conversation, then we’ll get down to the nitty gritty of the subject of the evening!
