Intro to British Traditional Witchcraft

Six Week Series Starting Saturday Nov 19th.

(There will be two classes on Nov 26th in order to avoid having a class on Christmas Eve!)

12 Noon to 2pm weekly
$23; $3 discount for cash, per class,
$90 for series if paid in full by first class

I invite all those interested in the Olde Arte, to join me for a six week journey into witchcraft, magic, heresy… and some cackling laughter to be sure!

This six week series is an introduction to the concepts, lore and practices of modern day British Traditional WitchCraft. Some concepts common to many Traditional Craft lines will be covered but there will be a bias towards the approach Griffin Ced practices and teaches. This is not a Wiccan based system, though experience has shown that some elements taught in this series may lend perspective and inform as to the roots of some Wiccan practices.

A fundamental understanding of the history and forms of Trad Craft will be presented through this class though forms of craft naturally accessible to the seeker will take focus. Drawn directly from the Well of Witchdom, this style of Witchcraft awakens a rich and diverse legacy that can be grasped and worked with naturally either as a solitary practitioner or with a group of kindred souls.

Traditional Craft, the Old Ways, OldeCraft Cunning Craft, it has many names… As presented in this series, is seen as a Practice which can be worked within many forms of cosmology, religion or philosophy. As such it has endured the changing of the tides and courts of man, practiced in a myriad of ways, beneath the cover of a thousand religions.

Seekers of all levels, from complete novice to long time practitioner are welcome. Regardless of what level you are at, you may find fresh insight and understanding within the Craft perspectives, practices and material presented in this class. Though there may be some fresh insight into common Wiccan or Pagan practices, this class deals with a very different approach to the Craft, Life and the World in general, than what you may have encountered before in other classes.

Are you curious for an adventure of mischief, mayhem and witchery?

This is the first time I am presenting this short Series for Saturday classes, in response to requests from folks over the years. Space may be limited, so please call “The Green Man” to reserve your spot!

Presenter BIO

Griffin Ced is the Witch Father of the family line and Tradition of Ced. Hailing from Britain, Griffin comes from a mix of Hertfordshire Village folk, Essex and London breeding. The Witch-blood “Gift” was passed via his mothers line & across the veil from his Great-Grandmother, who having decided it was time to move on, drowned herself in a bucket a year before his birth. He was raised with Spiritualism and good old fashioned British Craft, into which he was initiated in Essex back in 1975. Escaping the soggy isles for the snowy climbs of Norway, a quick tour of Africa and many other strange lands, he finally fell in love with California, making LA his home for the past 26 years! Griffin has been teaching Traditional Craft and leading public rituals for the past two decades and is committed to Community-building for the future of our people. To this end, Griffin, as the Manager of The Green Man in North Hollywood, has helped create the magical experience people have come to love with that store. As well as at Crones Hollow in Salt Lake City, where, together with Rita Morgan, the Dame and Mother of the Ced Line, for the past 20+ years, they have lead the oldest running coven in Utah.
