Goddess Worship 101 with Gabriela Herstik

One of the reasons many of us resonate with earth based spiritual practices is because of the emphasis on the divine feminine. In this class, we will be working with the ancient archetype of the goddess and celebrating her in all her forms. We’ll be talking briefly about matriarchal societies and goddess worship in ancient and modern societies, from Greece, to West Africa, to modern day neo-Pagan practices. Then we will talk about how to begin working with specific goddesses, how to set up an altar in their honor, and how to create rituals to honor and work with these deities. We will be covering a handful of different goddesses from around the world, and talking about their story, correspondences and how we can honor them with respect and devotion.  Class fee is $28, discounted to $25 if paid in cash.
