Ced Tradition Lammas

Here at the Green Man, the Ced Tradition will present a Harvest Festival Ritual Celebration for the Season of Lammas Tide.  Come help us turn the Great Wheel!

We gather to celebrate the first Harvest rite of the year in honour of Our Goddess the Lady Cerriadwen, the Great Welsh Draconic Goddess of the Moon, who is also a Harvest Goddess, known in the persona of the Old Mill Wife.  Accompanying Her in this rite we shall also honour the Black Sickle Lord of the Mound, Cromm.  Join us in celebration of the falling of Llew’s Crown of Light!

At this gathering we will be observing the old traditional Sacrificial Rite of the Harvest Sacrament of Lammas Tide, the first of the Harvest Festivals.  This is the time to make good, when we address the division between us and our Gods, setting aright the accord between us, upon which to build a better more sacred relationship between them and us.

Come join us and explore this Old World Initiate working of the season, together with a Community that has shown they can bring it in spades!

As this is the Harvest Festival, please pay attention to bring a dish to add to the great Harvest Festival Spread.  We shall share and enjoy a feast together after the rite.
