Festival of Hathor

March 9, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Welcome to the Rites of Hathor! Join us for an awesome Festival to one of the best Goddesses for Love!

The ancients adored this Goddess, worshiping her and her consorts to great magnitude.  Women and men were both drawn to worship and adore at her temples and
in wild parades that included Her image being carried thru out the Land, visiting towns by transport down the Nile to be greeted by the image and Priests of her beloved consort Horus (Heru) at the temple of Edfu.

Hathor or more correctly Het-her the beautiful Egyptian goddess of Love, Joy and Merriment!

Come for an excellent evening celebrating the pleasures of the Her presence, bring an offering if you like, small jingle instruments and any items that you would have this wonderful Netjeru to bless.

Hymn to Hathor
“Blue-lidded Daughter of Dawn, Golden Lady of the Mountains,
Carrier of Her Father’s Wisdom, let an old man rest in your arms.
Let him look at last on love’s face, breathing love’s breath.
I live in light a million years.
The sun rises or sets now – it matters not.
Here is ecstasy in death and certainty in life.
We are gods in the body of god, truth and love our destinies.
Go then and make the world something beautiful, set up a light in the darkness.”
