“The Sight” is an abbreviated term used for “The Second Sight” aka “The Gifts”. Often seen as being Psychic, it is the ability to perceive Spirit, in its many forms, from dearly departed Spirits of the Dead, Ancestral Spirits, to Nature Spirits, Gods and a good many more.

This will be a workshop focused on how we awaken our Sight and develop our ability to translate what we see into practical application. We will be covering what is called Hard Divination Systems, such as Tarot, as well as Soft Divination such as Black Mirror and Fire Scrying etc etc..

The Sight sits as the primary ability required within many Traditional Witchcraft Traditions, as direct communication and Gnosis are fundamental to the working relationships with Gods and Spirits, which is the true core of the Old Craft practice.

That said, there are people born with the Gifts switched on where others need to find how to awaken their intuition to a heightened level recognizable as “The Sight”. But we each have our strengths and weaknesses and recognizing where ones Gifts lay and working to strengthen and refine them is part of the journey we all have to make on the crooked path of witchery!

We have not changed our class prices in a decade, classes that were run prior to the opening of The Green Man, and for the seven years since our opening, classes have been $20. As all other costs have risen around us, we wish to be fair and respectful to our teachers who bring years of training and experience to the table, having set the high standard of quality we have become known for with our classes. Therefore, with the turning of this year, for the first time since we opened, our class prices will increase by $5.00, making a regular class or class type event $28.00, still with a $3.00 discount for cash, making the cost $25 if paid in cash.

As these prices come into effect we find that some classes and series have already been selling for 2018. And so in the spirit of fairness, we want to offer the early bird special price approach, by selling classes and series prepaid prior to 2018, for the old 2017 price. When we open after the New Year on Jan 3rd, then all prices will be at the new 2018 price.

We think this is a fair approach to the price transition, offering our old time regulars the option to buy in at a reduced early bird price, while creating a hard price shift date that respects our Teachers for their worth!
