Imbolc with Reclaiming LA

Join us to Celebrate the festival of BRIGID – also known as Imbolc, Candlemas, or Lady Day! This is a great time of year to replenish your creative wells and perhaps make a commitment to your spiritual growth and healing journey (personal and planetary).

BRIGID is the mighty Celtic Triple Goddess of inspiration, art & poetry, healing, childbirth and smithcraft. This ritual will invite you to make a pledge for the coming year before Brigid’s flaming cauldron.

WHAT TO BRING
Please bring small samples of “waters of the world” (water from your home or a special place) to share in Brigid’s Well and to take home.
Please bring food and drink to share for the post-ritual potluck.
Please bring your own reusable/washable plate, cup, utensils, and napkin.
We will be hosting a bardic pre-ritual gathering in the Green Man’s classroom area prior to the ritual. Please consider bringing a devotional/bardic offering to share with your fellow celebrants before the ritual – a song, a poem, a piece of art – in honor of the season and the turning of the Wheel.

To support those in recovery, this ritual is “clean and sober”.

Reclaiming LA is a community of women and men in the greater Los Angeles area who celebrate earth-based spirituality in support of justice in all its forms – environmental, social, political, racial, gender, and economic.
