As those who have taken classes with me before know\, each round of these series comes together differently. I never teach the same class or material in the same manner twice. Way too boring! So some students return to take these series multiple times and find new things round. These classes can also hold insight to the seasoned witch of other traditions and experiences. But I warn you old timers\, I will be keeping this accessible to new people\, and won’t be hijacked into deeper waters! \nAs this is a 9-week series we will be rotating between classroom lectures and hands-on\, practical ritual experience\, every other week taking the previous week’s lesson to the floor. This is a more experiential method approach that offers the student a deeper understanding of the material\, by taking it out of the realm of the theoretical and putting it into the realm of the practical. The objective to the Series is that the student claims insight into the material that enables true ownership and proficiency into the fundamental tools and aspects of working Trad Craft. \nDuring this series we will cover the full broad spectrum of the basic’s in all areas of Traditional Witchcraft\, from spell-crafting\, to Altars and basic magical tools of all sorts and onto all forms of Spirits\, familiars\, Ancestral\, Gods and beyond! This is a comprehensive introduction to all areas and elements of Traditional Witchcraft Cosmology\, how it works and why we need it! We will cover the creation of various forms of a working space for Witchcraft\, setting up the basic Northern Quarter System. This is not a Wiccan Based Witchcraft system\, we do not work an Elemental based Magical system nor do we work Golden Dawn Quarters. Also to be covered\, working with the Moons and Sabbats and other subjects related to the tides of Fate and the Web of Wyrd. All this and a whole lot more\, as anyone who has taken classes with me will tell–you always get more than you can handle! \nI am a Witch of over 40 years experience and over two decades of teaching and leading large groups in workings. I offer a structured system that works to support modern day Witches in practical application of and evolution of the Legacy they inheritably hold within their Witchblood! As noted above\, this is not a Wiccan-based system\, and it is different from what you may find in most books! We work in conjunction with various kinds of Spirits and the practice of Magic as foundational. You may experience magic and high energy first-hand in these classes. \nAn open mind to exploration into an alternative approach to the Craft is required. A sense of humour is also required! We take our work seriously but not ourselves. Our Spirituality\, what some call the Olde Religion\, is a path of laughter! And we invite anyone from the greater Pagan Community who would like to join us in this roof raising working to the Old Dame of Fortune and Witchery. \nAs the Wheel of Fortune shifts in these coming times\, as a minority community\, we know what it is to be alone and adrift in the world. He was raised with Spiritualism and good old fashioned British Craft\, into which he was initiated in Essex back in 1975. Escaping the soggy isles for the snowy climbs of Norway\, a quick tour of Africa and many other strange lands\, he finally fell in love with California\, making LA his home for the past 26 years! Griffin has been teaching Traditional Craft and leading public rituals for the past two decades and is committed to Community-building for the future of our people. Following a Class presentation on Lucifer Morning Star earlier that day\, we launch into a Vision Quest encounter with whom some would call the father of Witchery. Or at the least one of the more infamous of the Witchcraft Elder Gods\, though often misunderstood by many! \nIn the British Traditional Craft Tradition I work\, Lucifer is one of the Key figures invoked at every ritual working we do. I have found this to be a commonality amoung many Trad Craft Lines. The Legacy of the Morning Star\, Venus is rich in Mythos and deep in Witchcraft Insights. It not for no reason that this infamous figure\, who has transitioned across a few Religions and Mythic presentations\, is such a key figure to any who would seek the Initiate Path of Spiritual Awakening\, through the framework of the Old Craft of the Wise. \nThe many purposes and ambitions we can lay upon this Vision Quest is without end. And as we draw closer the focus for the work will present itself as it always does. Though this could easily be just a personal encounter with this key witchcraft celebrity and that in itself will be huge! \nAnyone want more information ahead of time\, make a day of it and come to the Class earlier the same day\, Sat Sept 3rd\, 3pm to 5pm. \nJust so you understand\, this is not a class on Satan or any Demon figure within the Christian perspective. So anyone looking for that\, you will not be happy with what I have to present. Though some of the more Heretical Christian Mythos and perspectives will be incorporated. This is rooted in Traditional Witchcraft\, not Wicca. British Traditional Witchcraft\, like many of the Traditional Witchcraft Lines\, have continued in its practices within the many religions and periods of history. Witchcraft is not a pagan specific practice\, and many old world Witches would religiously identify as Christian.
