SUMMARY:Awakening the Gifts with Griffin & Carrie
DESCRIPTION:“The Gifts” is an old world term for various forms and expressions of occult or metaphysical abilities. The most common of these being “The Sight”\, which is an abbreviated term used for “The Second Sight”. Often seen as being Psychic\, it is the ability to perceive Spirit\, in its many forms\, from dearly departed Spirits of the Dead\, Ancestral Spirits\, to Nature Spirits\, Gods and a good many more. \nIn some forms of Traditional Witchcraft the Gifts or Sight is not just the ability to perceive spirits\, but also the ability to interact and apply influence on Spirits\, making the invisible qualities of reality tangible and changeable. These Gifts/abilities are used in Spell-Crafting\, Healing and all forms of the Craft. \nThis will be a workshop focused on how we awaken our Sight and develop our abilities\, as well as how to apply the various Gifts in practical applications. We will be covering a great broad spectrum of the Gifts in Theory and Practice weekly. \nWe haven’t presented this series in years and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you! The workshop will present as part theory\, part practical. So come ready to exercise your gifts! Because of the practical application inherent in this series\, it is only available in-person. Classes will not be recorded and there will be no video access. \nSingle class fee is $33. DESCRIPTION:Mistress of the Crossroads\, keeper of twin torches\, known to some as a Queen of Faerie\, but to us she is the Goddess and Queen of All Witchery… IO  Hecate! \nFor those who have not encountered Hecate before\, my experience of her has always been such a delight.  So long as you come with an open and true heart\, she is a wonderful source of much wisdom and insight and is very generous with all of those who follow the path of the Moon!  You need not be a child of Hecate for her to share with you or embrace you… I have found her one of the most insightful\, clear and generous of Goddesses I have encountered.  She is one of the few true Witch Goddesses of All Witches and she fulfills that role spectacularly! \nIn a world as divided and conflicted as ours seems to be right now.  We need some insight and guidance on how best to secure our hearth and plot our path ahead.  How we can unite with our tribe and prepare to weather all storms within her sacred embrace.  The Moon will be in its waning half phase\, and the waning half Moon is perfect to further draw in the liminal power she wields so well!  With her twin torches\, aligned with the Venus Legacy\, she is the Mediator that bridges between Heaven and Earth\, bringing us clarity in the workings of Fate as written in the Stars.  She brings insight and guidance to all on earth who follow the tracks of Destiny but for those heretical witches who walk the ways beyond the bounds of the worlds\, these\, she holds closest to her breast\, as most treasured\, most dear! \nIn general about these workings; These popular monthly Vision Quests serve to help awaken the Sight and Gifts in the Seeker\, offering a number of opportunities to connect with and receive gnostic insight into your Fate\, Path and practices\, both within your mundane world as well as your Magic. A fusion dance\, the movements are inspired by folkloric dances of the Middle East\, North Africa\, Spain\, and India. It is a uniquely modern creation that does not represent an “authentic” dance from any particular region. This style celebrates the strength and beauty of working together as a group. Formatted steps\, cues\, eye-contact\, and connection allow dancers to stitch together an improvisational tapestry each time they dance.\n\nLevel 1 Fundamentals begins your journey of empowerment and support\, helping you to build muscle\, coordination\, mental acuity\, and grace. Students will learn dance posture\, form\, transitions\, and how to follow cues and how to lead with them.\n\nThis 9 week course consists of: Warm Up Gratitude Mediation Step by Step Instruction & Drills for both: Fast Vocabulary and Slow Vocabulary Movements Cues\, Transitions\, Following\, and Leading Finger Cymbals\, Cool Down.\n\nThis class is definitely a fun work out.
