DESCRIPTION:What is a Sound Bath?\nA Sound Bath is an experience in which you can either sit or lie down on the ground\, close your eyes and feel the sound waves of the crystal singing bowls and planetary gongs flowing around and through you…bathing you. Many people find it to be meditative\, relaxing\, and/or healing. Some people may go on an inward journey or experience altered states of consciousness and some may even fall asleep. Most people leave feeling more relaxed than when they arrived. Sound affects our nervous system. It can help to turn off our sympathetic nervous system…the fight or flight that we tend to live in our daily lives…and turn on our parasympathetic nervous systems\, allowing for rest and relaxation.\nDress in comfortable clothing and please bring a mat\, blanket\, pillow and/or anything that allows you to be comfortable lying on the floor.\nPlease arrive at 7:30 for 8:00pm start.  In order to avoid interruption of the meditative nature of this event\, the doors will be locked at 8pm sharp and no-one will be admitted after that time.
