SUMMARY:Puck Vision Quest with Griffin & Carrie (Hybrid)
DESCRIPTION:This month’s Vision Quest is an encounter with Puck! Not the Puck of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Nights Dream\, but more from the source from which he pulled this classic Spirit figure\, otherwise known as Robin Goodfellow! In centuries past the Witch has worked in close connection with particular Spirit partners. One that has played many various within the journey of humanity\, is the Hob Goblin\, who was seen often more like what we today would view as a House Elf only with attributes of the trickster. Reward your Elf and maybe he will help you with your chores\, don’t and dare to suffer the fruit of his indignation! Hob was also term that became associated with the Devil. And a lot of comparisons can be made between the old way of seeing the Devil and the persona of the Hob Goblin. Perhaps this Devil association\, as a trickster Hob who assists the Witch in their work\, even teaching them Magic\, is where the Witches association with the Devil came into being\, beyond the simply Religious demonizing of the Witch! \nJoin us at the Green Man for a deeper dive into this material and an encounter with the Puck\, Robin Goodfellow\, Friday May 30th we gather at 7.30pm \nGeneral notes about these workings: akin to the Quest for the Grail achieved through Vision\, these popular Vision Quest workings serve to help awaken the Sight and Gifts in the Seeker\, offering a number of opportunities to connect with various divine spirits and receive gnostic insight into your Fate\, Path and practices\, both within your mundane world as well as your Magic. \nPlease arrive at 7:30 for an 8pm start. \n*ZOOM PARTICIPANTS PLEASE NOTE: We will open the Zoom meeting at 7:30\, but will start at 8pm PROMPT. \n*IN PERSON PARTICIPANTS PLEASE NOTE: The temple space is not carpeted\, and bringing a pillow or yoga blanket or something comfortable to sit on is recommended. \nAlso\, please bring a salty snack to share for after the Vision Quest.
