SUMMARY:Ced Tarot Rituals of the Witch’s Compass with Griffin & Carrie
DESCRIPTION:Ced Tarot Rituals of the Witch’s Compass HYBRID class series with Griffin & Carrie.\nFor the first time ever\, a series of how to prep and work practical rituals from the Ced Tarot. We will also look at the Rider Waite cards as a comparison or alternate. \nStarting Tuesday March 19th at 7:30 p.m. for nine weeks.\nThis Series will be HYBRID: in person\, and on Zoom\, but please read specifics. \nAbout the Series:\nThis will be a Practical Ritual Series that takes the cards of the Ced Tarot as a tool to create practical working rituals. The cards\, worked in a particular manner\, offer inspiration as well as a way to tap into the tides of Fate\, sometimes called the web of wyrd. This use of the Tarot lends itself as a powerful tool of ritual construction that helps us find the right kind of working for any given goal in synch with any particular date upcoming\, forging a tighter harmony with the tides of Fate. This is a very helpful tool that we in the Ced Tradition have used for many years to find and flesh out many inspiring & powerful timely workings. \nThis approach will also open a deeper\, more practical grasp of both the Ced Tarot Cards and why they are placed where they are upon the Witch’s Compass\, offering also a deeper insight also into the associations of compass directions themselves. The Witch’s Compass as worked within the Ced Tradition is a cosmological framework used by us and some Traditional Witches as an alternative to the Judaic Kabalistic Tree. \nThough this series is primarily focused on the Ced Tarot\, we will also look at the Rider Waite Deck as a comparison. And the system we will present is possible to work with other decks. \nPractical considerations for this series:\nThis material has not been presented before in this manner\, and so we felt that many far afield would also want what we are offering in this Series. However in the past we have found that using Zoom for practical classes presented on the Ritual Floor really doesn’t work in general. So the solution we are going to try is this: \nOne week will be in the classroom exploring the cards and ways to use them\, to find insight into how to structure and work a practical ritual from them as source. The next week would then be working the rituals on the floor for the group in person at the store\, and for the Zoom folks to do as solitary workings at home. So: one week in discussion and ritual planning\, one week in ritual on the floor. \nEach week we work in the classroom would start at 7pm and go until 8pm purely focused on the Zoom members\, discussing their recent workings and getting feedback. In person folks are welcome to join us\, but the sole focus for the first hour will be on Zoom members. \nThen we will continue the evening in the classroom discussing the cards and the working for the following week. In person people will have the opportunity to discuss the work on the ritual working nights. \nThe first class will be an orientation for all students on how to work the Tarot for tracking the tides in order to create rituals\, and general basic ritual construction elements as a foundation for the rest of the series. \nSo we have 8 weeks: four in the classroom and four ritual weeks\, plus the orientation class for everyone.\nFor people in person this makes it a 9 week series.\nFor people on Zoom it will be a 5 week series spread over 9 weeks. \nThose who purchase the full series will have access to class videos on line for a limited time.
