DESCRIPTION:  \nMagical Medicinals\nBasic Herbalism with a Magical Twist\nWestern Herbalism and Magical Medicines with Rebecca\nSaturdays 2-5pm\n4/24\, 6/12\, 7/31\, 9/18\, 10/23\, 12/11\, 1/29/22\, 3/12/22\n$38 a class (possible materials TBD – will be an extra fee) \nIn this class\, which will happen over the course of the next year\, we will focus on various aspects of Western Herbalism\, Medicine Making\, and Potion Making from a medicinally informed herbalists perspective. \nPlants and food are medicine\, yet often we don’t see it that way\, even if we know it’s true. In this class I will introduce you to my approach with herbs in every day life as well as on extraordinary occasions. \nEach class will happen at the various points of the wheel of the year. We will learn about the energetics of plants\, how to make proper herbal medicine\, and how to honor the magical potential of the medicines we make. \nEach class will cover some fundamentals of herbalism\, a few plants and their actions\, and will have a hands on/workshop element leaving you with a little herbal alchemy for the season. \nEach class will be a 3 hour workshop with approximately 1 hour of plant discussion\, 1 hour of herbalism theory\, and 1 hour of medicine making demonstration.
