We lay our misrule upon the misrule of this all this stupidity!  Taking the focus back to more important questions\, like how did Christ’s followers steal the Chocolate Eggs from Ostara?  And what can old-timey Witches do about it? \nPuck\, the Goblin of Misrule himself will lead us into magic and chaos while we will try not to die from laughter!  This is a campy wild ride that promises to end with a real bang! \nSo come decked out in your most Witchy costumed selves.  Yes that outfit you have hidden in the back of your broom closet!  We know it’s there!  Join us in the cackling\, open and ready for a truly crazy fun working that will still be a power working!  This is something you won’t want to miss!  But you may if you don’t get your ticket fast as there is a limited number and these workings are rare and popular! \nPlease bring your sense of humor and join us as we let the misrule lead us in a merry dance of fools! \nAbout the Temple of Ced:\nWe are a long established Traditional Witchcraft Trad; we take our craft very seriously but ourselves not so much! DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThis year’s event is on Saturday April 25th! Gates open 12:00 pm. \nCome join us with the Green Man Pagan Community Tribe for a good old-fashioned Beltane Rite! \nThis celebration is not at the store\, but at a NEW OFFSITE LOCATION: \n***BANDIDO GROUP CAMPGROUND*** \nPearblossom\, CA 93553 \nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/1vYRdxLCRaD9EJeX7 \nPLEASE NOTE: DO NOT TURN OFF THE 2 FWY UNTIL YOU REACH SANTA CLARA DIVIDE ROAD ON THE LEFT. THIS WILL BE AFTER YOU’VE PASSED NEWCOMBS RANCH. SIGNS WILL BE PLACED TO MAKE CLEAR WHERE WE ARE. \n ***PARKING IS LIMITED: PLEASE CARPOOL*** \n \n \n \n  \nNo charge for kids under 13. However\, a warning: It being Beltane & us being Pagans\, the theme of the festival may at times be a bit suggestive and adult; as long as you’re cool with that\, kids are most welcome & we expect there will be some present. \nThis is a picnic-type event and we encourage folks to bring some picnic eats for themselves to enjoy.  Also\, feel free to bring something for sharing on the Drinks table! Note: if you plan on drinking\, please also plan on having your own food to soak up some of that booze\, even if you do believe it actually helps your coordination for the Maypole! We have tried it sober & buzzed\, but the Maypole Dance just seems to crash into mayhem every year regardless! Also\, please bring camp chairs and/or picnic blankets to sit on. \nCome\, enjoy old world Pagan Pole dancing. Rub up against nature and a few frolicking nature lovers as we turn this year’s Wheel. And there can never be enough frolickers\, right? Come experience the singeing of your unspeakables as you jump the Beltane Fire! Beat the ground\, dance and make merry like a loon with bells on! Mischief\, mayhem\, what a pair\, a bawdy line twixt foul and fair! \nWe plan to start the festivities at around 1:00 pm with a drumming circle\, with our beloved drummer Goat! So please bring a drum or other favored noise maker and join the jam fest. Or wear something sexy so you can entertain the drummers with a dance! \n \n  \n  \nThe Ritual will kick off somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.00pm. I say somewhere in the neighborhood because pagans are notoriously late. And we are a large gathering\, so getting folks in just takes a bit more time! Plus\, festival leaders may be possessed by Faeries at this point\, so ballpark times is really the best we can hope for. \n  \nThe Main Rite is expected to go about an hour\, give or take\, depending on how lost we all get. After Ritual we can continue with feasting & socializing… Or perhaps\, if you like\, we can get into some more drumming? \nPlease bring refreshments you would like to drink. AND out of respect to us\, please abide by the Law: people need to be over 21 to drink alcohol! Plus adults who are over 21\, please show the art of adulting by drinking responsibly so we can all get to have some fun. Also do keep in mind the long and winding road to get back home. \nThis ritual is offsite & tickets pre-purchased are absolutely required.
