Together with our community of witches\, we will celebrate our beloved dead\, our ancestors of blood\, ancestors of activism\, and ancestors of craft\, we will send our blessings into the future\, and we will dance into the Witches’ New Year hand in hand.\n\nThis is the final ritual for this iteration of Reclaiming LA\, so we will be weaving spells of protection and hope as we say goodbye to the community that has been\, and carry forward threads for the communities of the future.\n\nRitual intention:\n“The spell is done. The spell has begun.”\n\nSATURDAY\, NOVEMBER 1\, 2025\n\n7:30 PM: Doors open\n8 PM: Ritual begins (doors will be locked shortly after)\n\nLOCATION\n\nThe Green Man Store\n824 N Hollywood Way\, Burbank\, CA 91505\n\nENTRY FEE: $15\n\n~Cash preferred.\n~No one turned away for lack of funds.\n~There are no reserved tickets for this ritual; you pay upon arrival.\n\nYour entry fee allows us to support and continue to hold events at The Green Man\, a small business that has served a wide community of LA witches for many years.\n\nReclaiming LA is committed to economic justice\, and we recognize that this fee may pose a financial hardship for some of our community members. No questions will be asked\, and there is no need to provide justification for your request.\n\nBRING LIST\n\n~Please bring a quartz crystal you have prepared to use for holding a thread of magical power (or buy one from The Green Man before the ritual begins).\n~Wear your witchy best!\n~If you are called to do so\, please bring an offering for the Bardic circle: a song\, a poem\, a story of an ancestor\, etc.\n~You may wish to bring altar items that represent your ancestors.\n\nINFO\n\n~Doors will be locked shortly after the ritual start time of 8PM; please plan to arrive before 8PM to ensure you will be able to attend. Doors may be closed early if the store reaches capacity\, so arrive early to ensure you will get in.\n~All genders welcome!\n~Children welcome with adult supervision.\n~To support those in recovery\, this ritual is drug and alcohol free.\n\nACCESSIBILITY\n\nThe ritual space is indoors in an enclosed room in the back of the store. Access to the ritual space through the store is level and navigable by wheelchair. Accessing the ritual space requires going through the store\, which does have strong scents\, and accommodations may be able to be made in advance to come in through a back door. The ritual space will have dim lighting. Chairs are available for those needing to sit for part or all of the ritual\, and the ritual is structured to allow for participation also while seated. Acoustics in the ritual space can be a bit difficult with echoing; however there are no constant loud noises\, and the ritual is conducted with awareness of the ambient noise level to help with hearing. Masks are optional but encouraged.\n\nWe have written this accessibility statement to be as inclusive as possible so that people with accessibility concerns do not have to do the labor of asking. Are you looking for more than just your average Chilling Adventures? Do you Solemnly Swear you are up to no good\, but don’t know what happens next? Are you curious for a dip into some Mischief? If so\, this series might just be for you! If you want to know more\, read on\, Macduff… \nThis Presentation is an overview introduction into the concepts\, lore and practices of modern day Traditional Craft. Though elements of history and forms of Trad Craft will be touched on\, this class will focus more specifically on a form of craft we call Heretical Witchcraft\, which is naturally accessible to many seekers. Drawn directly from the Well of Witchdom\, this style of Witchcraft awakens a rich and diverse legacy that can be grasped and worked with naturally either as a solitary practitioner or with a group of kindred souls. \nThough there may be some fresh insight into Wiccan practices\, this class deals with a very different approach than that of The Wicca. Hopefully folks of all levels from beginner to the seasoned Witch will find some fresh insight through this presentation\, together with gobs of irreverence\, mayhem and cackling laughter to be sure! \nAs those who have taken classes with us before know\, each round of these series comes together differently. We never teach the same class or material in the same manner twice. Way too boring! So some students return to take these series multiple times and find new things round. But I warn you old timers\, we will be keeping this accessible to new people\, and won’t be hijacked into deeper waters! \nDuring this series we will cover the full broad spectrum of the basic’s in all areas of Traditional Witchcraft\, from spell-crafting\, to Altars\, working space for Ritual Magic and basic magical tools of all sorts\, then onto all forms of Spirits\, familiars\, Ancestral\, Gods and beyond! This is a comprehensive introduction to all areas of Traditional Witchcraft\, how it works and why we need it in our lives! We will cover the creation of various forms of a working space for Witchcraft\, setting up the basic Northern Quarter System. We offer a structured system that works to support modern day Witches in practical application of and evolution of the Legacy they inheritably hold within their Witchblood! In years past this one has become known as the series that truly pushes the way people craft! The Witch-Blood Series is different each time it has been presented\, as has been the Broom and Mill Series. Last year\, it made sense to find a new way to present the Witch-Blood that could also work as a Hybrid Series\, allowing folks further away to be able to experience this Key Traditional Witchcraft Series. \nAnother popular Series we have presented is the Broom & Mill\, which is a Series based on a presentation of a series of Key Witchcraft material as it is tethered to the Witch’s Compass. The Compass of Winds\, brings order to the Winds of Creation\, as the Spirits or Breath of the Dragons\, as realms arranged upon a Compass Rose. This is a Traditional Witchcraft Cosmology system that differs from the Ceremonial Based elemental system\, and is employed as the working construct of Sacred space\, that a Traditional Witch uses to bring the working communion between the witch and the Spirits and Gods\, as needed for the Old Arte. \nEach year we have worked both Series as it may reflect the world about us\, helping us to awaken the Legacy within our Witch-Blood as it may aid us in our work and navigate the world about us.\nThis year we will again bring the two series together and reflecting the world about us\, seek deeper insight and clarity into how our Witch-Blood Legacy\, as it is arranged about the Compass\, may be claimed and employed. \nThis Series is designed for those who have taken classes with us before and are familiar with the type of Traditional Witchcraft we teach\, the basic forms and practices as well as the witch’s compass. Starting with a classroom section to address the subject matter each week\, we will then move to a Vision Quest format to delve deeper into the material & Legacy in a more one on one\, personal manner. \nThis series takes us on a 9 weeks journey of practical personal insights in search of the Witch-Fire of Cunning and power that dwells within. The Witch-Blood Series is different each time it has been presented\, as has been the Broom and Mill Series. Last year\, it made sense to find a new way to present the Witch-Blood that could also work as a Hybrid Series\, allowing folks further away to be able to experience this Key Traditional Witchcraft Series. \nAnother popular Series we have presented is the Broom & Mill\, which is a Series based on a presentation of a series of Key Witchcraft material as it is tethered to the Witch’s Compass. The Compass of Winds\, brings order to the Winds of Creation\, as the Spirits or Breath of the Dragons\, as realms arranged upon a Compass Rose. This is a Traditional Witchcraft Cosmology system that differs from the Ceremonial Based elemental system\, and is employed as the working construct of Sacred space\, that a Traditional Witch uses to bring the working communion between the witch and the Spirits and Gods\, as needed for the Old Arte. \nEach year we have worked both Series as it may reflect the world about us\, helping us to awaken the Legacy within our Witch-Blood as it may aid us in our work and navigate the world about us.\nThis year we will again bring the two series together and reflecting the world about us\, seek deeper insight and clarity into how our Witch-Blood Legacy\, as it is arranged about the Compass\, may be claimed and employed. \nThis Series is designed for those who have taken classes with us before and are familiar with the type of Traditional Witchcraft we teach\, the basic forms and practices as well as the witch’s compass.
