As such\, Shamans have been able to guide and heal their communities through their connection with spirits of the land\, their skill in tracking problematic patterns and energies\, and their ability to travel between the spirit realms. Presently\, there has been a resurgence of interest for Shamanism\, leading many people onto a path of healing and growth through reclaiming their lives on a physical\, emotional and spiritual level. \nIf you are new to Shamanism\, or simply want to learn more about it\, this series will help you cultivate an understanding of a Shamanic worldview. In this series we will explore and discuss the various commonalities amongst Shamanic traditions from around the world\, and demonstrate simple ways in which you may incorporate Shamanic practices and skills into your own spiritual practices and everyday lives. \nThis will be a 6-Week Series Class\, wherein each class will meet every Thursday night between 7:30pm – 10pm\, from May 2nd to June 13th. ***We will skip class the week of 5/30\, and resume\nthe following week at the The Green Man Store’s new location. SUMMARY:Seasons of the Witch hybrid series with Griffin & Carrie
DESCRIPTION:‘Seasons of the Witch’ with Griffin & Carrie\nStarting June 18th 7:30 p.m. for 4 weeks \nIn this short series we shall explore the underlying themes and mythos that permeate through a whole Season rather than only focusing on a single Sabbat or Festival day. Taking a wider view to see how ongoing themes weave & evolve through the Seasons\, we see how the specific festivals\, Sabbats and practices came into being. Most of all\, this series approach helps focus in particular the Witch’s Legacy of Mysteries that lies at the roots of the seasonal practices\, offering inspiration into how Witchcraft practitioners today can access and apply this material to our own 21st century path and evolution. \nTo share my own experience: when I first did this series some years back\, honestly I was surprised how deep this approach would take us into the legacy and underlying themes that run through the whole season. This helps most in clarifying the main meat to be worked with over the season–not only clarifying the core material for Witches to focus on with the Sabbats but also the energies at play with the Moon workings. \nThis will be the first series in our exciting new location in Burbank. We figured doing a short foundational type of series would be great to set us up for the work we hope to engage in as the year progresses! \nThis Traditional Witchcraft series is good for Witchcraft practitioners of all levels\, including newbies. There will be elements for all levels. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our Midsummer Sabbat Ritual!\nSaturday\, June 22nd\nPresented by The Temple of Ced. \nThe Temple of Ced is a British Traditional Witchcraft tradition as opposed to a coven based in Wiccan practices. As such\, our sabbats are not based on agriculture or earth religion practice\, so we tend to  deviate a bit from what you may expect if you haven’t worked with us before. That said\, we build our rituals with the intent of making them inclusive and accessible to our very diverse community at The Green Man and whatever paths they may be walking! \nPlease bring a dish to share for the potluck social gathering after the ritual. Out of respect to us\, please abide by the Law: people need to be over 21 to drink. Adults who are over 21 are asked to please be adult in their drinking approach and drink responsibly so we all get to have some fun. \nWe gather at 7:30pm for an 8pm Rite. To help defray costs to the store and to the presenters\, we charge $15 for rituals.
