During this time we will also cover background lore and associated info with this subject\, focusing mainly on how to practically apply this material in today’s world as Witches and Seekers of the Old Craft living in the world of today. In simple terms\, this series is about how to claim the power of the Witch in the hardest of times and contexts. DESCRIPTION:Odin\, Krampus & Cailleach Vision Quest.\nPresented by Griffin & Carrie.\nA Hybrid Event:  Live in person & Zoom!\n\nWinter is coming with the Yuletide celebrations\, and the All-Father Odin\, known to lead the Wild Hunt\, then swings back around as Father Winter\, the Father of Yuletide\, the true and pagan original model for Santa!  Let’s face it: he owns this time of year in all its phases.  As Father of Winds\, he is the frenzy of creation. Father of the Gods\, Father of Winter\, Father of Yuletide\, and even Father of the Afterlife…yes all this and much more.  However\, in the public he is seldom spoken of as the Father of Witchery.  Known in some places as the Wanderer Old Nick\, he is also undeniably a major Witch God!\n\nAs a sidekick to old Santa who has become popular in recent years\, Krampus the black Goat figure was probably originally associated with Thor.  Although the Yule Goat has since become associated with Odin in his Father Yule persona. If you want to know more\, read on\, Macduff… \nThis Presentation is an overview introduction into the concepts\, lore and practices of modern day Traditional Craft. Though elements of history and forms of Trad Craft will be touched on\, this class will focus more specifically on a form of craft we call Heretical Witchcraft\, which is naturally accessible to many seekers. Drawn directly from the Well of Witchdom\, this style of Witchcraft awakens a rich and diverse legacy that can be grasped and worked with naturally either as a solitary practitioner or with a group of kindred souls. \nThough there may be some fresh insight into Wiccan practices\, this class deals with a very different approach than that of The Wicca. DESCRIPTION:  \nCentered by Griffin & Carrie\, and The Temple of Ced\nSaturday October 28\, 2023 Doors Open 7:00pm\n***THIS RITUAL WILL NOT BE HELD ONSITE AT THE GREEN MAN***\nSamhain this year will be held at the MCC Church: 5730 Cahuenga Blvd.\, North Hollywood\, CA 91601. PARKING IS VERY LIMITED – please consider carpooling or a paid ride. \nTickets are available ONLY on The Green Man Store website\, and must be purchased NO LATER THAN 5PM THE DAY OF THE EVENT. This event is the biggest and most popular of the year and tickets are limited\, so please secure your ticket early!\nTickets are $25. \nThis is an Old World Traditional Witchcraft working for the dead. Be advised it is not an appropriate event for children. This gathering is not a Halloween party; this is a real witchcraft working. We do work for the passing of loved ones but also\, we call upon the Wild Hunt\, calling in the lost souls and aiding them across the Veil. This working gets intense with power and high energy. Be prepared for such participation and bring desserts and drinks to add to the potluck for after the ritual\, as grounding after the ritual will be necessary! \nYou are invited to bring photos and/or items* of loved ones that have passed\, whom you would like to honor or work with\, and light a candle\, on our Hallowed Ancestral Altar. Please keep this within reason as space on the altar is limited. You are also welcome to bring your Ancestral Bone/Skull fetish to be worked on the Ancestral Altar.
