SUMMARY:Lucifer Vision Quest with Griffin & Carrie (HYBRID)
DESCRIPTION:Called by some the father of Witchery or at the very least one of the more infamous of the Witchcraft Elder Gods\, Lucifer is often misunderstood! This Vision Quest follows a Class presentation on Lucifer Morning Star that will be presented a week earlier on Saturday March 7th at 3pm. \n  \nTo give a little context\, in the British Traditional Craft Tradition I work\, Lucifer is one of the Key figures invoked at every ritual working we do. I have found this to be a commonality amoung many Trad Craft Lines. The Legacy of the Morning Star\, Venus is rich in Mythos and deep in Witchcraft Insights. It not for no reason that this infamous figure\, who has transitioned across a few Religions and Mythic presentations\, is such a key figure to any who would seek the Initiate Path of Spiritual Awakening\, through the framework of the Old Craft of the Wise. Just to be clear\, this is not a Vision Quest on Satan or any Demonic figure within the Christian perspective. So anyone looking for that\, you will not be happy with what I have to present. Though I would also mention that some of the more Heretical Christian Mythos and perspectives will be incorporated. This is rooted in Traditional Witchcraft and that is not a purely pagan specific practice\, as many old world Witches would religiously identify as Christian\, Jewish\, or any number of Faiths. Though they would all be hard put to deny their approach is rooted in the Heretical Old Ways approach where they view their Religion through the eyes of Witchery. \n  \nThough the many purposes and ambitions we could lay upon this Vision Quest are without end\, as we draw closer the focus for the work will present itself as it always does. However\, a warning: It being Beltane & us being Pagans\, the theme of the festival may at times be a bit suggestive and adult; as long as you’re cool with that\, kids are most welcome & we expect there will be some present. \nThis is a picnic-type event and we encourage folks to bring some picnic eats for themselves to enjoy.  Also\, feel free to bring something for sharing on the Drinks table! Note: if you plan on drinking\, please also plan on having your own food to soak up some of that booze\, even if you do believe it actually helps your coordination for the Maypole! We have tried it sober & buzzed\, but the Maypole Dance just seems to crash into mayhem every year regardless! Also\, please bring camp chairs and/or picnic blankets to sit on. \nCome\, enjoy old world Pagan Pole dancing. Rub up against nature and a few frolicking nature lovers as we turn this year’s Wheel. And there can never be enough frolickers\, right? Come experience the singeing of your unspeakables as you jump the Beltane Fire! Beat the ground\, dance and make merry like a loon with bells on!
