Faery Knot Magick with Elysia, The Naughty Faery, herself.
Sat Mar 17th 3-5pm $20 cash fee (material costs $5 if needed)
With St. Patty ’s Day upon us what would be a better kick off for Spring than to welcome the awakening Sidhe of the land than to give the little buggers projects to do!? And who best to help you? Why The Naughty Faery herself, of course!
Faery Knots is a unique blending of basic knot magick and color theory and good ole’ fashioned arts and crafts. Best part about it is that you will also be giving the faeries something to do in the process to make sure that they are NOT doing annoying things like hiding your keys, your favorite jewelry, clothes, wallet, dog, cat, small child…well, you get the picture. They are sly buggers.
This is a hands-on working/crafting class so be sure to bring whatever creativity you have stashed away and most of all, bring your fun and laughter. A small portion will be discussion about the work and the rest will be creating your own Faery Knot to either be put to use in your home, or to be set free. There are a few items that you might want to bring with you. Sharp scissors, 3 different colors of ribbon of your choosing, flowers (real or not so real) to be woven into work, again of your choosing, charms and small knicknacks that you feel the urge to bring, shells, etc. — whatever small items you feel drawn to.
If you bring these items with you the class is $20 cash; if you forget, don’t fret, just bring $5 cash extra for the cost of materials.
Class is for all levels of study, even children, but all young ones should be accompanied by a paying adult. There is limited space so we are closing the list at about 15 people to make sure we have plenty of room. Pay in advance if you have to, but don’t miss out on the fun. Things will get loud, and I expect a tad bit of laughter, but again, what better way of bringing the Faeries in?!?!
