Mining and Crystal Lore

Mining, and Crystal Lore Workshop w/Fritz

Into the dark
Into the dark
May the canary I hark
As I step
Into the dark

Did you hear that Tommy Knocker?  Did you see Cousin Jack?  Is that a cave-in?  Should I whistle while I work?  In this workshop we will explore mining mysteries through myth and superstition.  We will also mine for Quartz Crystals in the blood-red earth of the Mother.

Come join Fritz for this hands-on workshop. You will mine your own sample of earth taken directly from a Quartz Crystal mine in Arkansas.  You WILL find beautifully formed quartz crystals in your sample.  This mine produces fine crystals and tabbies.  See what you can find.Learn how to identify Quartz Crystal forms like Record Keepers, Tabbies, Twins, Cathedrals, Penetrators, Rainbows, and more as we explore what you find in your crystal-bearing earth. The crystals are still covered in the blood-red clay from the pocket where they were extracted. This crystal-bearing clay has not been “high graded” or “picked over” — you are getting a sample of the earth directly from the crystal-producing pocket.  You will be the first person to see the beauty of your crystals as we learn about the different metaphysical attributes of Quartz Crystals and the mining lore that helps us find them…or is it they find us?

What to bring with you:
Clothes you can get dirty from red iron oxide clay.
Dishwashing gloves if your hands are sensitive.
Something to take your crystals home in like a mojo bag or ?
